May & Watts Garden Design

Beautiful gardens for modern living from award winning designers.

May & Watts Garden Design are passionate about their work, and love to produce creative design solutions for their clients. They are discriminating and discerning in their choices, and subtle and sympathetic in their approach. They bring a mature and pragmatic attitude to their work, and enjoy collaborating with other professionals, contractors, artisans and on-site employees.

May & Watts Garden Design understand that their clients are busy people who like to be involved in their projects but not necessarily in a 'hands on' fashion. They are flexible in their work methodology and will work with their client's desired level of involvement in their project.

By paying careful attention to their client's wishes, and assessing the site, they aim to produce a design solution that is bespoke to the client and garden, offering full or partial project management to ensure realisation of the design.

In 2002, they were employed by Loire Valley Wines to create a show garden at Hampton Court, for which they were awarded a Silver, two more gardens followed in 2003, (Silver) and 2004 (Silver-Gilt)  As part of the marketing strategy, a national competition was run; the prize; a garden designed by May & Watts Garden Design. In 2006, MWGD was asked to submit a plan for The Teaching Garden adjacent to the new glasshouse at the RHS Wisley Gardens.

In the last few years, May & Watts Garden Design have been concentrating on private commissions, (some of which can be seen on our commissions page, and which we hope to add in the coming weeks.

May & Watts Garden Design specialise in country gardens both modern and traditional, the planting schemes are beautifully realised both visually and horticulturally, and as always clients preference at the forefront of the design process.
