Country garden

The brief was simple; to create a traditional country garden to complement a new house. A yorkstone terrace surrounds the house, a white woodland garden of hydrangeas and cornus flank one side of the garden, and new paths form a walk through existing rhododendrons on the other.

A grass “room” viewed from the terrace catches burnishes gold and red, catching the rays of the setting sun.

A courtyard, created to form an intimate space outside the garden room is tranquil and elegant with small formal pool, and abundant foliage.
