Small colonial-style garden

We designed this garden several years ago, and were asked back to re-work the design to accommodate a kitchen extension. The clients, originally from New Zealand, had asked us to include phormiums, callistemons, tree ferns and English cottage garden plants which developed into a fusion of an small English cottage garden in the colonial style.

There are multiple areas for seating, one under an old apple tree, accessed from the new kitchen doors. A drying area dominated by a Hills Hoist which is converted into a parasol to provide further seating for more guests.
